The pup that started it all.
Ken received his first chocolate labrador in 2006. The pup grew into a great hunting partner which lit a fire under him to want to hunt for his dog. Seeing the dog work gave him joy that fueled his passion for waterfowl hunting. When you see a dog work for not only the sport but for the handler there is something to be said there. It's pure magic. We want to share that experience with you.

These are just a few of the characteristics that describe us. Our dogs are in the field during the waterfowl and upland season. Once the season ends, we enjoy the quality time of the great outdoors with our featured pups.

We are the breeders behind Humphrey Retrievers. Now featuring Cold Creek Farms AKC Labradors: Gretchen and Dennis Hyde have been our friends and mentors for years now and the time has come for them to pass the torch so they can focus on enjoying their golden years. We are thrilled at the opportunity to carry on Gretchen's legacy while providing more options for our clients and carrying on her dream.
